Sales at Soft Touch Furniture isn’t just about closing deals - it’s about building long-term relationships and ensuring our product offerings reach the right customers in the right way. That’s the focus of Roger Gasser, Vice President of Sales.

Roger oversees our independent sales representatives, works with the marketing department on national advertising and social media campaigns, and helps guide trade show strategy and booth development. His work connects the craftsmanship of Soft Touch with the restaurants, hotels, and businesses that rely on our furniture every day.

Roger has been with Soft Touch for four years, bringing decades of experience in sales and manufacturing leadership to the team. He studied Accounting and Finance at Youngstown State University, and has continually pursued ongoing business courses and seminars to strengthen his expertise. Prior to joining Soft Touch, Roger held key leadership positions at Gasser Chair Co., where he served as Metal Shop Production Supervisor, Scheduler, Marketing and Trade Show Director, and eventually Vice President of Sales. He later became Vice President and co-owner of Quality Upholstering and Seating Company, further deepening his knowledge of the furniture industry and its customers.

At Soft Touch, Roger’s role goes beyond sales as well. He provides valuable input on new product development, conducts field visits and customer presentations, and advises upper management on sales strategy and quoting activity. By blending his background in manufacturing operations with his sales leadership, Roger helps ensure that the company’s growth is matched with customer confidence and industry recognition.

Outside of work, Roger enjoys an active lifestyle that reflects his love of competition and community. He’s an avid golfer, a fan of the Cleveland Guardians and Cleveland Browns, and a proud supporter of Youngstown State University athletics.
