As President of Soft Touch, Megan Vickers carries that responsibility every day. She oversees all aspects of production and operations, ensuring projects run smoothly from start to finish. From managing workflow and supporting the team to working directly with clients, Megan’s focus is on keeping Soft Touch innovative, efficient, and customer-focused.
Megan literally grew up with Soft Touch. Her parents founded the company before she was born, and she spent her early years learning the business from the ground up. Of course she worked there as a teenager in janitorial and other roles, but it was after graduating from Kent State University in 2006 with a degree in Interior Design that she returned to the family business and began her path to leadership. Over the years, she compiled experience in every aspect/department of the company, building firsthand knowledge of the company’s entire manufacturing operation before stepping into leadership. Five years ago, she officially became President, bringing with her both deep experience and a fresh, modern perspective.
Under Megan’s leadership, Soft Touch has strengthened its reputation not just for quality and innovation, but for integrity. One of the company’s proudest achievements during her tenure was receiving the Better Business Bureau Award for Ethics, a recognition of the honesty, fairness, and respect that guide every decision. For Megan, it’s proof that success comes not only from what Soft Touch builds, but also from how it treats people. She continues to champion a vision of growth that blends cutting-edge manufacturing techniques with the family values the company was built on.
Looking ahead, Megan is committed to keeping Soft Touch at the forefront of the restaurant and commercial furniture industry. By developing new, innovative products, investing in advanced technology, and nurturing long-term customer relationships, she ensures that the company remains competitive while staying true to its roots.
While her professional life is dedicated to leading the company forward, Megan’s personal life is centered on her family. She and her husband are raising 12-year-old twins, and much of her free time is spent supporting them in their activities. Whether cheering them on or driving between events, she embraces her role as both leader and parent with the same energy and dedication.
