At Soft Touch Furniture, flexibility is just as important as craftsmanship. That’s why Quality Control Manager Cesar Ramos has become such a key part of our production team.
While his main focus is in the upholstery shop, Cesar moves around to wherever he’s needed, stepping in to make sure jobs get done right and on time. Whether it’s woodworking, upholstery, finishing, spray coating, or assembly, he’s the kind of versatile team member who helps keep projects moving smoothly from one stage to the next.
Cesar has been with Soft Touch for 16 years, and in that time he has worked in nearly every part of the shop. His past roles include shop maintenance, woodworking, coating/spraying, and furniture making. That broad background means Cesar doesn’t just do his job well; he also helps others by filling gaps and ensuring no detail falls through the cracks. Customers know they’re in good hands with a company that retains experienced craftsmen like Cesar to make sure everything is working smoothly.
Before coming to Soft Touch, Cesar built his foundation in hands-on skills as a material handler after completing vocational high school training. Those early experiences gave him both the technical know-how and the strong work ethic that continue to guide him today. His ability to adapt and take on multiple roles means our customers benefit from smoother builds, stronger quality control, and faster turnaround times.
Cesar’s talents go beyond the shop floor. Skilled in coating spray, woodworking, and upholstery, he applies that craftsmanship not just to Soft Touch projects but also to personal hobbies. Outside of work, he enjoys woodworking and building car models, finding satisfaction in the same kind of precision and attention to detail that his job requires.
