Pew Reupholstering

Pew Refinishing

We would love to assist you in beautifying your sanctuary while still preserving the heritage of your place of worship. We can restore worn, aging pews to their natural, pristine condition with our comprehensive factory pew refinishing service.

The Process:

Step 1
Upon arrival, we will disassemble your pews, numbering each part for identification.
Step 2
Next, we’ll transport your pews to our facility and strip the old finish using our unique sanding process. This will prevent deterioration of glue joints and will restore the wood surface to its original state.
Step 3
We will then make repairs to the pews as needed.
Step 4
The new finish color is obtained by sanding, applying the stain by hand, spraying with a vinyl sealer, light sanding and then spraying with 3 coats of specially formulated catalyzed lacquer, ensuring finishes that are smooth and durable.
Step 5
The pew components are then packed and shipped on our trucks to your site where they are reassembled, set in place and re-fastened to the floor by our experienced installers. This service typically takes just four weeks, and we will do our best to work around your schedule.
