Cabinet Refinishing Process

Step 1: Door / Drawer Removal
We start by coming to your home and removing all the cabinet doors and drawers for refinishing at our shop.
Step 2: Cabinet Door / Drawer Refinishing
We refinish pieces in a controlled environment in our shop. First, all the hardware is removed. Then, we completely strip the old finish and refinish the pieces to match the new color.
Step 3: Cabinet Frame Refinishing
We call to schedule this in-home step. Using a special cleaning solution, we clean the entire exterior of the cabinet frame and then lightly sand the frame to enable it to accept the new finish. Then, the exterior of the cabinet frame is refinished according to your color specifications. We are very experienced in the art of masking and take priority in protecting the areas not being refinished.
Step 4: Re-Assembly
We replace the hardware on the cabinet doors / drawers and reinstall the refurbished pieces on the frame. Finally, we clean up the work site, leaving your room exactly as we found it – except for the newly Refinished Cabinets!
